Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Yo...Mariko,

Thanks so much for sharing with us.

You're not the only ILCer who wrote about the amazing display of colors seen on the East Coast this time of year. We simply have nothing to compare. It even taxes the mind to come up with the appropriate words to describe what you're seeing.

I'm so very pleased that you had an opportunity to spend a little time with Irene and Lupe. As you wrote, you already knew Irene but Lupe is also one of our superstars and I have to think that meeting her and getting to know her added to the trip. Both of these fine women have made my life better for having known them.

As for all of those old friends that you may never see again, they're much like your own high school friends. Before long you'll be graduating and as you all scatter to the far reaches of the world you'll stay in touch with some and you'll lose touch with others.

What it comes down to, Mariko, is if they're important enough to you, you'll make the effort to stay in touch. It never just comes naturally--you have to make it happen. This can be another of your Action Plans. You can do what it takes to stay in touch with old friends.Don Gosneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17110247579694408858noreply@blogger.com
