BIOTECHNOLOGY

During the three week Techniques in DNA-Based Biotechnology course (June 20^th thru July 8^th) our ILC cohorts will perform extensive laboratory work with DNA and even create a tissue typing of their own DNA. Students will develop a variety of skills used in modern research and medical development, and learn by discovering.

INTRO TO MACROECONOMICS

How a Nation’s Economy works: An Introduction to Macroeconomics is a three-week course in which students will be studying the basics of the American economy and the causes of its fluctuations. Meeting from June 20^th thru July 8^th, the ILCers will become economic experts, graced with the secrets of inflation, unemployment, interest rates and consumption.

WOMEN AND LEADERSHIP

The Women and Leadership program is a two-week course (July 11^th thru 22^nd) where students will investigate challenges faced by women in modern society. Students analyze the way gender affects the progress women make and will be submitting an Action Plan involving issues they are passionate about.
